Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and trustworthy Cashier to join our restaurant team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in handling restaurant billing operations, excellent customer service skills, and a keen eye for accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all customer transactions efficiently using the POS system
- Handle cash, UPI, and card payments accurately
- Provide bills, receipts, and manage refunds or returns
- Maintain and reconcile daily cash reports
- Assist customers with billing queries and menu-related questions
- Coordinate with service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth order processing
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness at the billing counter
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a cashier, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality sector
- Proficiency in POS billing systems and payment handling
- Strong numerical and communication skills
- High level of honesty, reliability, and customer orientation
- Ability to work during weekends, evenings, and peak hours
